Update on due dates

Here is an update on due dates for the next two weeks:
2/27- Group Four Quiz and Act Four Vocabulary Quiz
2/28- Macbeth study guide questions, Act Five quiz, finish watching "ghetto" Macbeth (compare/contrast with play)
3/1- Introduction to Hamlet (handout questions-place in notebook); begin watching Hamlet and taking notes
3/2- Finish watching Hamlet (group work time); Current event four is due today (place in own folders)
3/5- Group Project work day
3/6-7 Group Projects will be presented during these times
3/7- Macbeth notebook is due today (Hamlet notes must be present)
3/9- Test over Macbeth and Hamlet; Persuasive essays are due today; make-up essays are due at this time

This post is in addition to the previous one posted a few days ago. Tuesday I will be out of the classroom, but you will need to complete the following assignments before Wednesday:
  1. Complete handout over William Shakespeare's video (handout was given in class and you should have already turned it in to the sub)
  2. Complete the Shakespeare Information Search and have that ready for Wednesday (I will be taking this up if you did not complete it in class)
  3. Any missing essays, current events, etc. should be turned in on Wednesday unless otherwise instructed to do so.

February 5 to February 9

February 5: Students will be presenting their Canterbury Tales projects; descriptive essays are due today; 2nd current event is due if you have not already turned it in; missing tasks lists and grades have been distributed today. (discussion of grammar notebook)

February 6: Act I pre-reading vocabulary was distributed today; class activity today

February 7: Introduction to the Renaissance period (notes were taken today); brief introduction to Shakespeare; Journal entry: What is the ultimate betrayal?; Situations/skits were distributed today (due on Friday)

February 8: Grammar worksheet one (done in class); skits were presented in class today; begin reading Act I of Macbeth (keep up with handouts/quizzes/etc. because they will be placed in the notebook that is due on March 7)
